Student Alliance for Equality

S.A.F.E. is a student organization that focuses on education, advocacy, and social opportunities for LGBTQ+ people and their allies. SAFE is open to all °µÍø½ûÇø students.

For the Fall 2024 semester, the Student Alliance for Equality (SAFE) meets from 12:30 - 1:15 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays in the CCC Student Lounge.

Aug. 27 - Welcome Meeting: meet like-minded peers and staff, and enjoy snacks

Sept. 10 - Topic Tuesday: Being an Ally, Join us for a conversation about allyship with the LGBTQ+ community

Sept. 24 - Tailgate Tuesday: Socialize and enjoy homemade tailgate snacks

Oct. 8 - National Coming Out Day Circle of Sharing: Join us for a celebration of LGBTQ+ people who've been brave enough to be themselves in a world that might not easily accept them.

Oct. 22 - Topic Tuesday: Gender Spectrum, Join us for a conversation about the range of genders and gender expressions

Nov. 12 - Topic Tuesday: Sexuality Spectrum: Join us for a conversation about the many types of sexual and romantic attraction
